Anti-pollution activist and ultra-swimmer breaks the world record
Neil Agius a Maltese swimming instructor and ex-Olympian has swum into the world record book’s with the longest ocean swim from Linosa to Xlendi, he completed 124.4km in over 52 hours. Adverse weather conditions forced a last minute change that saw him leave the island of Linosa with Malta as his end destination. His previous record was the first athlete to swim from Sicily to Malta last year.

Marine Exhibition
Inspire in partnership with 360°Blue worked in an initiative that focused on Malta’s seas, raising awareness in our community to preserve the marine environment. Four different groups worked for the past few weeks to make this happen, the topics covered in the event include Marine ecosystem – Biodiversity and Habitats, Climate change and its impact on marine environment, Sustainable use of Marine resources.

Playground Clean Up
LinC Day School Programme has been designed by Inspire, to guide children with special needs to make a sense of their physical world and their community, through experiments and opportunities. This initiative will help them to explore, observe and find out about places, technology and, of course, our environment.

Sea Activity
The Malta Federation of Organisations Persons with Disability, is launching an activity, on behalf of 360° Blue open to students and kids of all ages! The Sea Activity aims to encourage young minds to learn more about Maltese marine habitats and how climate change impacts them. Stay tuned for updates on the winners, and upcoming activities!
